Los Angeles- Music gave direction to Carlton Griffin life when he was going through depression. Amidst all this, singing was his only escape after he returned from the Vietnam war.
After doing three tours overseas, Carlton Griffin came back but things went more bad from there as he faced discrimination because of his skin color.
Getting hope and reintegration was hard for him He also faced homelessness, addiction and incarceration. In the late 2000’s he discovered his hope back through music through a Capella group. US department of Veterans Affairs funded this program.
